INSIDE THE HOUSE

Hopefully you will find the inside of the house comforting and relaxing.  A couple of things to note while you stay:

BEDS
  • The 2 beds in the house are queen sized; Tenants are asked to bring your bed own linens and towels (but can pay a little bit extra to have them supplied)
  • Each bed has one blanket, two pillows and a water/mite proof barriers for the pillows and mattresses (please do not remove the barriers)

AUDIO/VIDEO/INTERNET
  • All AV equipment can be controlled by using the universal remote control. Instructions are posted in the house for what to press to view the satellie, Apple TV or DVD player
  • To hear sound, the speaker (Amp on the universal remote) needs to be powered on
  • The hi-speed wifi password is RDGetaway
  • Please do not adjust any of the stereo or television equipment

FIREPLACES
Should you need to turn the fireplace on, the pilot light should be on,
Living Room Fireplace
- use the switch on the wall to the right of the fireplace to turn on
Kitchen Fireplace
- open the grill and turn the knob from Pilot to On
- control the temperature by the thermostat that is on the wall, opposite the front door (door that faces the water).

GENERAL NOTES
  • We do not have any ants in the house but we have laid traps inside and outside the property purely as a precautionary measure.
  • The kitchen is full stocked with dishes, cutlery, pot, pans, microwave, and 2 coffee makers (one for backup)
  • The tap water is tested each year and is safe; there is also a water dispenser in the kitchen and only needs you to purchase a bottle (bottles can be easily purchased in Wiarton and Sauble Beach)
  • The phone number here is 519 534 1467. It is restricted to local calls only
  • There should be plenty of cleaning products left in the house to help you clean before you leave; please make sure the house is left in the condition in which you find it.


Here are the inputs to use the TV.  You can start each device by pressing each item on the remote or start all the devices at once by pressing the shortcuts on the right.

THE BUNKIE

The bunkie is a great room for a small family or children to have as their own private area. It includes:
  • two double beds
  • a two-piece bathroom
  • 2 pillows and a bed spread on each bed
  • plenty of seating
  • a DVD player hooked up to a plasma television.
The attached utility room has a sink, washer and dryer as well as the plumbing pumps for the house.  Feel free to make use of the outdoor games that are stored in the utility room.
